Halftime
This year has been a pretty amazing experience, to say the least.
We're just into the second half of 2009 and yet I feel that I've accomplished so much more than I could've imagined.
Expanding my Horizons
Last January, I finally signed up for a caregroup in the Light of Jesus (LOJ) community. The Sunday Feast has been a consistent routine for more than a year and I felt that I'm ready to reach out to more people. I've met some of the most inspiring and amazing people through this group. They're pretty crazy too (haha).
But we continue to inspire each other every Sunday. Oh, and I was able to reel in my dad as well. :)
There are more good things coming soon in my service to LOJ. Can't wait!
Basic Photography
I've always wanted to enroll in a photography class. Since I delved into this crazy world, actually. So I was pretty stoked to have the opportunity to sign-up in the Basic Photography Workshop conducted by FPPF.
Batch 5 of Basic Photography 2009
Learning with the Masters - Lito Beltran, Ador Pamintuan, John Chua
Though it was a long drive (all the way to Intramuros), the whole experience was so worth it! I learned a lot of tips and techniques that I'm able to practice now.
The icing on this towering cake? A new group of fantastic friends and two trophies!
1st Place: Environmental Portrait
3rd Place: Still Life
Let's Meet, 'K?
Speaking of new friends, my photography classmates and I formed a group called Kamera Cinco (K5, being the 5th batch in the Basic Photography Workshop). So far, we've had five outdoor photoshoots (La Mesa Ecopark, Avilon Zoo, Wawa Dam, Eastwood, and Binondo) and one basic lighting studio shoot (with Oliver Tam as our guest instructor).
I am having a BLAST!

The Final March
After five years of blood, sweat, and tears (and lots of prayers too!), I finally graduated in my Master of Education course.
